Weight loss program and upcoming Events
It's been a while since I blogged.....can you tell january was here. We've had tons of new faces running around and it's been great to get to know them. Our weight loss program is in it's 3rd week. Everyone is losing....I think my team is winning. It's not too late to get on a team and learn to be healthy and shed some holiday poundage.
So far we have incorporated 3 simple habits into our lives....eat a "Queen" size breakfast, eat 7-11 fruits and vegetables and this week is 64 ounces of water. We are also trying to be active and exercise at least 4 days per week burning an accumulation of 1500-2000 calories per week. Awesome job everyone!!!
UPCOMING EVENTS!!!
February 26th at 6:30- "What not to wear" Meet our professional Stylist for the latest in spring fashion and to learn how to look your best in your clothes. A sign up is required for this event at the front desk.
2nd Annual Cheerleading Conditioning Clinic- is scheduled for March 2-April 9. LSU cheerleaders will be our guest coaches. Come and get ready for try-outs. 90% of those attending last year made the squad.
4th Annual Free Month March- Non-members come and try us for a month free. Just pay the assessment fee. It's a time to try us and not be committed. If you are a member elsewhere, here's an opportunity for a change of scenery without leaving your gym. Members can register each week in march for prizes. Local vendors have donated awesome gifts and meals for our awesome members.
